Summer Books 2020 - 2020-08-10

Overview of books read during the summer of 2020.

This summer I have spent much time reading both e-books and listening to audio books using Storytel. I have been able to read more books than ever making me very impressed of myself.

10. Sveriges medeltid 1-2 Dick Harrison
11. Du sköna nya värld (Brave New World) Aldous Huxley
12. Ni vann aldrig, så tog jag mig levande genom högstadiet Lisa Jonsson

21. Familjen Johanna Bäckström Lerneby
22. Tutankhamon Dick Harrison
23. Utvandrarna Vilhelm Moberg
24. Invandrarna Vilhelm Moberg

The books are mostly a mixture of history, biographies and fiction. I started looking for well crafted books which have survived the passage of time and I conclude that Buddenbrooks, Jane Eyre, Dracula, and Shantaram are excellent. Books are much more rewarding compared to movies and TV-series and I will definitely continue to hunt quality literature.
